error in event log

running windows 2003 server, Sql 2000 sp3 and WSS 2.0. I have been getting
the following error. Any ideas on hot to fix it? Also sometimes I cant
connect to the DB using sql mamanger but if I restart the db I can connect.

SQL error logs say, the pressure could be in the main area (Buffer pool) or

Error in connection

when sinchronize this error is show:
"el proceso no pudo conectar con subscriber 'PCP'"
The process can't connect to suscriber.
Please, any IDEA, is accept.

To remove the problem, enter the distributor properties, subscribers tab and
click on the elipsis by the side of the relevant subscriber. Choose to
"impersonate the sql server agent account on 'servername' (trusted
connection)". Provided the distribution agent account exists as a login on
the subscriber and has sysadmin or db_owner rights on the subscription
database, the error is removed.
