Error loading value

I have been getting the error below from an SSIS Package that has been running successfully in production for 2 Months. Also, this started after we installed SP2. We had errors durring the SP2 installation durring the Notification Services and Workstation Tools install but the installation program reported that the installations were successfull so I am not sure if this is related.

Here is the error message:

Error in Processing Cubes SSAS2005

I am trying to deploy and process cubes to production server, i got this error with processing failure

Errors in the back-end database access module. OLE DB reported the '' status, which is unknown, for column 1.

So deployment works fine. I have deployed and processed and the same cube to Development and Test server, it goes through pretty well without any errors.

Any one has an idea what this error means?

Thanks

This error means Analysis Server for some reason couldn’t instantiate OLEDB provider to connect to relational database.
Several reasons:

1. For some reason your production sever cannot access relational database. Check Analysis Server service account. Does it have privileges to access relational database?

2. Installation or configuration gone wrong. See if you can fix the problem by re-installaing Analysis Server.

3. Another suggestion for you to use Synchronization functionality to move database from test to production.

Hope that helps

Edward.

Error in Bulk Insert after Windows 2003 Upgrade

My production support group upgraded the version of Windows Server from 2000 to 2003 on a stand-alone SQL 8.0 development server. I am using a bulk insert command in a stored procedure that is now failing as a result of the upgrade.

The error message is: Server: Msg 7302, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
Could not create an instance of OLE DB provider 'BULKIMPORTSTREAM'.
OLE DB error trace [Non-interface error: CoCreate of DSO for BULKIMPORTSTREAM returned 0x8007045a].

We have checked the following based on other posts we have seen.

1) Re-registered impprov.dll
2) We are at SP 3
3) We are at MDAC 2.8

We also verified by copying the DB to a dev server that has not been upgraded it still works. Does anyone have any other suggestions or experience that may help?

Thank you,
KellyJust being curious, did they do an upgrade without scratch and rebuild the server? If that's the case, your server would have registry problems. If your dev box is a dedicated db box, you can simply run the rebuild registry with sql 2000 installation CD and patch up with sp3 after that. If you still have problem, since it's a dev box, I would recommand that you take backups, sratch the box, install Windows 2003, install sql 2000, patch up to sp3, and then reload the database on to the server.|||Well, I made the suggestion that the server be rebooted after the unregister and re-resgister process and that seems to have done the trick. The DBA thinks that restarting SQL Server may have been enough. Thanks for the idea Joe.

Error icon on replication monitor and sub items

Hi,

Have two servers, one production server and one backup server. Both are Windows 2003 Server having SQL Server 2000 installed.

I have created replication on these servers using a wizard. I then generated SQL scripts to delete and create the replication. These scripts work well, but to test to remove the replication on both servers I used sp_removedbreplication 'DBNAME' on both servers. Not all were removed and on Replication Monitor and sub items plus Log Reader Agent there were added an icon, a red 'X' as in error. The replication seems to work.

Does anyone have any idea on why this happened and what I can do about it. It is not very nice to have errors in replication on a customers servers.

Grateful for answers
Best,
/M

Please refrain from creating multiple posts for the same question. Here's cut/paste from my reponse to your other post:

The cleanest way and supported way is to drop the distributor and recreate it from scratch. However you can also look at the following tables in distribution database and delete any rows that reference your deleted publications (but take a backup of the distribution database first, and note that manually deleting these tables is unsupported):

MSpublications

MSsubscriptions
