Error in Enterprise Manager

In Enterprise Manager, when I expand the objects and click on the database
object for my live system I get the following error message:
Title bar: "Internet Explorer Script Error"
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 307
Char: 2
Error: Unspecified error.
Code: 0
URL:
res://C:\Program%20Files\Microsoft%20SQL%20Server\80\Too ls\Binn\Resources\1033\sqlmmc.rll/Tabs.html
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
Yes/NO.
Whether I press Yes or No the right pane say the database is undefined.
All other database work fine and the system seems to be running fine.
Any Ideas?
Dan
Is this in the taskpad view? If so, it happens to me a lot. A
workaround is to change the View to Large icons, Small icons, or
something besides taskpad. Then close EM, then open it back, and you
can then change the view back to taskpad. Not exactly sure why it
happens.

small icons then exited EM. Then re-opened EM and change back to Large
Icons, then open all objects and clickd on the database and got the same
error.

Error in creating DB diagram

Hi all,

When ever i tried to creat a diagram for the database i have i got this error:

Database diagram support objects cannot be installed because this database does not have a valid owner. To continue, first use the Files page of the Database Properties dialog box or the ALTER AUTHORIZATION statement to set the database owner to a valid login, then add the database diagram support objects.

the version of the database i am working in was backed up from another machine

what is the problem and how can i solve it?

Thanks in advance

hi,

using SQL Server Management Studio Express, select the database node you have problems with.. access it's properties and, in the "Files" tab, set a valid login as the database owner... please verify the database is in "compatibility level 2005" 2005 too (Oprions tab)..

regards

Error Icons displayed on parent objects with no or different children

I recently had to restore a database from backup and the restored
database had a different set of publications than the one I overwrote.
Since then, in EM, on the Replication Monitor object, Publishers, and
Servername objects as well as on the Agents and Snapshot Agents
objects, I see the little red X denoting an error. I have done
everything i can think of and more, following much advice given on this
group. I even turned replication off, deleted all publications, used
hilary cotter's script to clean up all the miscellaneous replication
tables/settings, etc. and restarted the server.
Everything seems to be working fine, but I would like to try to clean
up these "errors". Does anyone have any suggestions?
I am running SqlServer 8.00.2039 SP4 Standard Edition on Windows Server
2003 SP1
You will have to manually remove the replication jobs in msdb. Sometimes you
will get transitory error messages in EM, run sp_MSload_replication_status
to clear them.
